Steve Throop

Clients appreciate Steve’s approach. He listens, takes into account needs and working styles, stays within the rules, and gives independent feedback. Notably, Steve has developed forecasting models that allow clients, both established and emerging business owners, to see their potential future financial statements and identify and change the driving factors to achieve profitable results. Steve also works with employee benefit plans, and non-profit organizations to meet their compliance needs.

As a native of Pennsylvania, Steve craved warm weather and calm winters. He moved to San Diego in the late 70’s and worked in both audit and tax practices of large national and regional CPA firms. Steve then co-founded Logan Throop & Co, and operated as a small business entrepreneur for 15 years before that firm combined with H&B in 2001.
