Stephanie Wilson

Before joining Hutchinson and Bloodgood LLP, she worked for various regional firms across the country. Stephanie oversaw and executed the day-to-day activities of multiple concurrent audit engagements, and during this process, developed a strong understanding of the client’s business. She was responsible for coordinating all audit activities and emphasized clear and frequent status reports to ensure that project timelines and budgets were met. She is particularly skilled in project management.

Stephanie has served private and public company clients in a wide range of industries, including life sciences, manufacturing, employee benefit plans, and nonprofits. She has extensive experience in financial accounting, compliance, external auditing, internal controls, and operational efficiency. She also strives to provide her clients with value-added services, such as best practices for efficiencies and control recommendations.

Before Stephanie became a public auditor, she spent three years as a controller for a government contract company, where she was responsible for overseeing all financial areas of the company. As a result, Stephanie brings a unique blend of audit and practical experience to clients in several different industries.

Stephanie received her Bachelor of Accounting and her Master of Accountancy degrees from The University of North Carolina, Charlotte. Stephanie is an active CPA in North Carolina and California, as well as an active member of the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
