Daniel Razmjou is the Director of IT Assurance Practice with over 16 years of professional experience in Finance, Information Technology, Healthcare, and Education.
He has developed leadership, cybersecurity, computer information systems, asset protection and loss prevention, and project management skills during his academic and professional experiences across multiple industries. With a concentration on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP), he is acutely aware of the threat landscape and the factors posing a risk to the entity in the respective contexts.
Daniel assists organizations in adequately designing and protecting information systems and assets by developing and implementing the Information Technology general controls, assessing the design and operational effectiveness, and providing remediation guidance to ensure the achievement of organizational objectives. Furthermore, the IT Assurance Practice engages in regulatory (FFIEC, HIPAA, NY DFS, DOI, etc.) and non-regulatory (SOC 1, SOC 2, cybersecurity reviews, AUP) assurance projects.
